Why should I bother
 with Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?

If you were to apply for your current job now, would you get it?
Are you sure that your skills and knowledge are up to date?
Are you making the most of every opportunity, giving your best and receiving the best possible reward for your efforts?
Are you ready for the next stage in your career? If you can answer 'Yes' to all of these questions, you are probably already involved in a CPD programme.  Congratulations!

But if you've answered 'No' take a look at LWTT's IMPACT's CPD Network

Walk Homecoming 2009

Homecoming Scotland 2009 is a tremendous opportunity to celebrate Scotland's diverse contributions to the world.  Ramblers Scotland plans to help both Scots living at home, as well as those returning from abroad, to join the celebrations by exploring their local communities and those of their ancestors on foot, throughout 2009 and beyond.

Ramblers Scotland launched the 'Walk Homecoming' campaign in March 2009, to encourage local people and those returning from abroad to walk their roots.  Walk Homecoming is the first step in a six year programme to ensure that Scotland is fit and active, with lots of new walking routes, by 2014, the year of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

The key outcomes of 'Walk Homecoming' are:

These outcomes will help to maximise use of Scotland's newly identified core path network, as well as inspire people to lead healthier livers, increase sustainable travel and provide a valuable resource for tourism.

LWTT was commissioned to design the monitoring and evaluation framework for Walk Homecoming 2009.
