Whats' New

Why should I bother
 with Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?

If you were to apply for your current job now, would you get it?
Are you sure that your skills and knowledge are up to date?
Are you making the most of every opportunity, giving your best and receiving the best possible reward for your efforts?
Are you ready for the next stage in your career? If you can answer 'Yes' to all of these questions, you are probably already involved in a CPD programme.  Congratulations!

But if you've answered 'No' take a look at LWTT's IMPACT's CPD Network

Identifying your Learning Needs - Tailored Workshops

The Scottish Centre for Regeneration (SCR) developed the Learning in Regeneration skill pack.  The pack helps people working in communities to take a structured approach to analysing and meeting their learning needs.

SCR are are keen to encourage people in the regeneration sector to use the Skills Pack and are offering free tailored workshops in Identifying your Learning Needs.  This is a really good opportunity for staff, volunteers, teams, organisations or even community groups.

Who should attend?

The workshops are aimed at people involved in:

community regeneration such as:

registered social landlords
social economy organisations
regeneration companies
the Community Voices Network
community representatives
The Scottish Government
local authorities
the NHS or local health initiatives

or those involved in:

community learning and development
elected members such as local councillors
community safety
the voluntary sector
the private sector

If you are interested or unsure whether the workshop is suitable for you please could you either phone Fiona Craig or Gina Thomson on 01324 489666 or email on this address fcraig@lwtt.org.uk and we can discuss further your requirements and any ideas you have for structuring your own workshops.
